Before starting with the application process, the first thing you have to do is check your eligibility. Because you’re reading this article, it’s likely that you know you are already eligible. But since there is no harm in being extra cautious, let us check the eligibility for appearing in the Arizona State Cosmetology Board Exam.

By Universal Recognition

  • For appearing in the Cosmetology Board Exam, applicants need to prove residency in Arizona.
  • All applicants must have a license or have one year of certification from another US state.

  • Now click on Cosmetology & Barbering.
  • For this, choose Arizona as your state.

  • Last, pay the registration fees. The amount is $177.00. By paying this sum, you are effectively registering for both the practical and written tests.

On the Day of the Exam

On the day of the exam, it is best advised to visit the examination center 1 hour to 30 minutes prior to avoid the last-minute rush.
